Art and Culture in Italy is open to college or university students, applicants must be in good standing at their home institution, have at least sophomore standing at the time of participation, and a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.  Art & culture student at Roma's Villa Borghese

Application items should be mailed to OIA - Kent State University, P.O. Box 5190, Kent, OH 44242-0001.  You should send items to us as you complete them so we can begin your application file.  Please telephone or email us for an application packet:  telephone - 330/672-7980, or email sbaker@kent.edu

 Program Application: must be accompanied by a $30.00 check or money order to cover the non-refundable application fee.  

 Transcripts covering all college/university work must be submitted to OIA.

 Transcript Release authorization must be signed so your grades at the end of the semester can be sent to you and to your home school registrar.

 Letters of Recommendation: Two (2) from college/university faculty members who have had you as a student.

 Agreement Release: must accompany the application.

 Photographs: Three-they must be nearly identical to those required for your Passport and should have a light background. Unacceptable photos will be returned, and will delay your application process.

 Parental Permission Form is required of students who are under the age of majority in their state of residence (18 years of age in Ohio).

 Passport Number/Expiration Date and Italian Student Visa though not required with your application, must be on file with OIA before a participant can depart for Florence.
