It is said that all roads lead to the eternal city of Rome; others claim Italy is Venice's canals and the city's San Marco Plaza; many are steadfast in their view that life is best discovered in Chianti's country side.

Marnie, a spring 2007 program participant from the University of Michigan: Kent State has a beautiful facility with an unbeatable location right in the heart of Florence.  For me, its main appeal was offering a small program with personal attention.  The field trips were the best way to explore Italy, and something that other Florence programs didn't offer

field trips - Typically incude:  Rome, Venice,  and Mantova and other venues.

The photos are only a little of what you will see during class museum visits; in some instances on the program's organized field trips or when you travel on your own.  Some travel times by train from Firenze are:

Assisi - 2 hrs (h) 21 mins (m)  ▪ Lugano - 4 h 41 m ▪ Pisa - 1 h 20 m
Bologna - 57 m Munchen - 8 h 23 m ▪ Roma - 3 h 38 m
Geneve - 8 h 29 m Napoli - 4 h 24 m ▪ Venezia - 3 h 29 m
