Loan Requests

Museum collection policy permits loans of collection objects and exhibitions to other museums or to other non-profit institutions that can provide a similar secure environment. Exhibition props, such as display cases, pedestals or mannequins are occasionally lent on a case-by-case basis. Listed below are exhibitions that are available for travelling. A formal loan contract is always required. Please contact the Museum Registrar if you have any questions about loans at jfenn1@kent.edu or call (330) 672-3450.

Any objects loaned must be handled by the staff of The Kent State University Museum. Objects must be stored and exhibited in conformity with the following environmental requirements:temperature 68-72° F, humidity 40-55%, light 5 footcandles (50 lux) or less. The Kent State University Museum will require a Standard Facility Report as evidence of the borrower's standards of security and care.
