This special
group offers finantial support directly to the Kent State University
Museum. Annual donations of $1,000 from each Platinum Circle donor
enable the Museum to maintain high standards of programming and
exhibitions and provide more opportunities for the public to enjoy
them. Platinum Circle donors are recognized by name on plaques
in the Museum's lobby.
During the
2002-2003 fiscal year, Platinum Circle support contributed to
new gallery lighting, pre-installation work necessary for a future,
improved security system, and signage for the newly refurbished
lobby. Platinum Circle donors were honored at a special reception
when the museum re-opened on April 24, 2003.
